FEES
Edward Stone uses one simple retainer agreement for DUI
clients.
Flat Fee:
(1) First Time DUI- $1,500 for both the Department of Public
Safety Hearing and the criminal action through the pre-trial
conference(s). If the case continues to motions
hearings or trial, the fee shall be the flat fee plus an
hourly fee of $195 per hour for work performed after the
pre-trial conference.
(2) Second Time DUI- $1,850 for both the Driver's
License Division hearing and the criminal action through the
pre-trial conference(s). If the case continues to
motions hearings or trial, the fee shall be the flat fee
plus an hourly fee of $195 per hour for work performed after
the pre-trial conference. A second time DUI is defined as a
second DUI within 10 years from any state.
(3) Third Time DUI- $2,500 for both the Driver's License
Division hearing and the criminal action through the
pre-trial conference(s). If the case continues to
motions hearings or trial, the fee shall be the flat fee
plus an hourly fee of $195 per hour for work performed after
the pre-trial conference. A third time DUI is defined as a
second DUI within 10 years from any state.
